A section of Phillip Fulmer Way from Cumberland Avenue to Middle Drive will close on Monday, December 16, as part of the ongoing Student Union construction project.
Vehicles still will be able to access Middle Drive and the Hill by turning right from northbound Phillip Fulmer Way next to Neyland Stadium.
During the closure, the sidewalk on the west side of Phillip Fulmer Way will be open from Cumberland Avenue to the entrance to the University Center. The sidewalk on the east side of the road will be open from Cumberland Avenue to the entrance to the Burchfiel Geography Building.
The section of road is closing for construction of a pedestrian bridge that will cross over Phillip Fulmer Way, connecting the new Student Union with the Hill. The road is set to reopen in early summer 2014.
