What: Clay Shoot, Delta Zeta’s annual fall philanthropy event, consists of a trap shooting competition. Each team that participates in the event will be allotted five shooters per team. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver but are not required to have a shooting license.
When: Preliminaries from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 11, and finals from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13.
Where: John Sevier Rifle Range, 2327 Rifle Range Road, Knoxville, TN 37918
Price: $200 for the first team, $175 for each additional team
Details:
- Ear and eye protection are required for EVERY shooter.
- All teams will shoot Friday; top six teams will shoot in the finals on Sunday.
- Ammo is not provided but can be purchased at the range or brought with you.
- All teams will have a Delta Zeta coach.
- All participants will receive a hat.
- Keep in mind that the range takes CASH ONLY.
- Shotguns can be rented from the range as well.
