A team of UT students, including Tullahoma’s Katelynn Routh, is wrapping up the second year of a three-year competition to see which group of young engineers can leave the smallest carbon footprint while making the biggest impression on the auto industry. Established by the United States Department of Energy and General Motors, the competition, called EcoCAR 2: Plugging In to the Future, is the only program of its kind.
