Students eighteen and older will now have access to Zipcar, the world’s leading car-sharing service, which arrives on campus Thursday, February 21.

The campus will have two Zipcars, a Ford Focus and a Honda Civic, which will be parked near Presidential Courtyard at the intersection of 20th Street and Andy Holt Avenue. Representatives from Zipcar will be on campus Thursday handing out information on the Pedestrian Walkway and at Presidential Courtyard.

To join Zipcar, visit the website. Once you’re a member, reserve a self-service, on-demand car online or on your phone for as short as an hour or as long as four days. Let yourself into the car with your unique Zipcard. (The keys are already in the car.) Just make sure to return the car at the end of your reservation.

Students eighteen years and up can become members today for $25. Zipcar is currently offering a promotion of $40 in free driving for students who enter code LAUNCH2013 on applications by March 31.
