KNOXVILLE — The academic affairs and student life committee of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees is scheduled to meet Jan. 31 in Chattanooga.
The meeting will begin at 10 a.m. with a tour of the UTC SimCenter, 701 East M.L. King Boulevard, followed by a campus tour and a meeting at noon in the Heritage Room of the UTC University Center, 615 McCallie Avenue.
Agenda items include discussion of recruitment and retention of students, faculty and staff. Additional items include a presentation about UTC’s student housing programs as well as a discussion about the university’s honorary degree policy.
