KNOXVILLE — Potential law school applicants are invited to attend an informational program about admissions from 2-4:30 p.m. on Jan. 26 at the University of Tennessee College of Law in Knoxville.

“Anyone who is considering law as a career and is interested in the law school admission process is invited to this event,” said Karen R. Britton, director of admissions, financial aid and career services at UT’s College of Law.

Participants will learn about preparing to be a successful law school applicant while in college, the elements of the law school admission process, ways to finance a legal education, life as a law student and career opportunities for law students and graduates.

Participants should arrive by 1:30 p.m. to check in, pick up materials and visit with staff and students.

The UT College of Law is located at 1505 W. Cumberland Ave., directly across the street from the University Center. The admissions open house is free; pre-registration is not required.
