Dr. John W. Shumaker, the finalist for the presidency of the University of Tennessee, has requested an open forum for faculty, students, staff, alumni and other friends of the University. It has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m.(EST), Friday, March 1, in the University Center Auditorium.
Dr. Shumaker will answer questions from the audience, and I know the Advisory Council joins me in encouraging members of the University community, alumni and those who are interested in the future of our institution to participate in this important event.
