We Want Your Input on T Link OnDemand Trip Request System

The T transit system is looking for feedback on its new OnDemand T Link trip request system, which began in a test version this semester and allows you to make T Link trip requests from within the Transit section of the UT app. As the system is refined and improved for next semester, your feedback is invaluable. Please complete this short survey before December 11.


Spring Semester Charges and Fees Viewable December 2

If you are registered for spring classes, you will be able to view your charges and fees on MyUTK beginning Wednesday. The summary of charges and fees will show a calculation of your applicable spring fees and show pending and awarded financial aid for the spring semester. Spring fees are due by 4:30 p.m. Monday, January 11.



Thank You for Participating in Red Zone Awareness Events

The Center for Health Education and Wellness created a time-lapse video of its staff and students painting the Rock to thank the campus community for participating in the Red Zone awareness event. More than 1,000 info cards and 1,200 consent T-shirts were distributed, and approximately 1,500 students, faculty, and staff signed the Red Zone canvas. Watch the center’s video here.



Apply to Be a Resident Assistant

Being an RA is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have on campus. The leadership role allows you to meet new people and help fellow Vols. Applications are due January 21. Learn more about the application process and responsibilities of being an RA.


Book Rental Check In and Textbook Buyback at VolShop

Sell your fall or other previous semester books and get cash back or return your rental books. VolShop will be buying back books Thursday, December 3, through Thursday, December 10, at the Student Union, University Commons, 17th and Cumberland, and Art and Architecture Building VolShop locations. You can use your buyback receipt to receive a 20 percent discount on your next purchase at VolShop.


Residence Hall Quiet Hours Begin Tomorrow

Final exams are right around the corner, and many students choose to study in their residence hall rooms. Twenty-four-hour-a-day quiet hours begin at 9:00 p.m. tomorrow and will end at 9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 10, to allow students the quiet time they need to study and rest.

Apply for Undergraduate Summer Research Internship

Want to work on research or a creative project this summer? Beginning January 8, you can apply for the undergraduate summer research internship. This internship will pay $15 per hour, up to $1,900, for research and projects mentored by UT faculty. The deadline to apply is February 12.
