Submit to Vol Update

Vol Update is UT’s twice-a-week student e-newsletter that helps current students stay connected while on campus. It includes recent campus news, deadlines, reminders, job and internship opportunities, student honors, and achievements, events and more.

Vol Update is sent by the Office of Communications and Marketing in conjunction with the Division of Student Life on Mondays and Thursdays during the spring and fall semesters.

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to submit news and events for possible use via the submission form below.

Events must be geared primarily to students and sponsored by a university-affiliated organization. Events must also be open to all UT students. Please submit your event to UT’s campus events calendar before submitting to Vol Update.

It is your responsibility to notify us if any important details change about your event or news after its publication so we can correct the information if necessary. We reserve the right to edit submissions based on space availability and content considerations.
