Love Defies Distance for New MSBA Graduate
For nearly a year, 2,570 miles separated Madeleine Beatty from her 5-year-old daughter, Mathilde. Today, Mathilde will watch her mom walk across the stage at UT's graduate hooding ceremony for the Haslam College of Business. Students' Research to Potentially Become Cherokee Biographies for Children
A group of UT students spent this fall delving into the lives of Cherokees who called East Tennessee home in the 1800s, before they were forcibly removed and relocated west of the Mississippi River. The students' research and recovery of the lost stories of Cherokee people could be translated into the Cherokee language and become children's books. Read more...
