Search Under Way for Vice Provost, Dean of Graduate School

An internal search is under way to fill the position of vice provost and dean of the Graduate School. Vice Provost and Dean Carolyn Hodges plans to return to the modern foreign languages and literatures faculty at the end of the calendar year. Lesson Inspires Students to Organize Human Trafficking Awareness Event
A class discussion about an enslaved African prince in the 1600s has inspired a group of UT undergraduate students to help stop modern-day human trafficking. The inaugural Human Trafficking on Rocky Top event will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, in the Toyota Auditorium at the Baker Center. It is free and open to the public. UT Institute for Public Service Prepares for Off-Campus Move

The UT System's Knoxville footprint is growing to include the Mechanicsville area with the relocation of the UT Institute for Public Service. Sixty-five people who work in IPS Knoxville offices will move into a building, previously occupied by state of Tennessee employees, at 1610 University Avenue beginning Monday. Read more...

Lawn Displays at Fraternity Park

Fraternities and sororities teamed up to create lawn decorations with the "Let the Games Begin" theme on Thursday. This "Battleship" display is on the Alpha Gamma Rho lawn. Winners of the Homecoming competitions will be announced at halftime of Saturday's game against North Texas.
