CHEW Welcomes Marc McCulley to New Employee Wellness Position
The Center for Health Education and Wellness recently welcomed Marc McCulley to a new position in the department as an employee wellness coordinator. In this role, McCulley will pave a new path for CHEW: coordinating and sharing the university's health and wellness resources with faculty and staff. At noon Friday, November 6, McCulley will be the featured guest at Walk with a Vol at Thompson-Boling Arena. This thirty-minute walk, sponsored by the Center for Physical Activity and Health, begins at the Gate D entrance. Read more...

The UT College of Law Legal Clinic works to serve indigent people in the community, to encourage future pro bono service, and to contribute to the education and development of law students to become thoughtful, skilled, and ethical attorneys. The longest-running legal clinic in the nation, the clinic started in 1946 and involves twelve faculty members and approximately one hundred students every year. Read more...

Distinguished Lecturer to Discuss History of Black Capitalism

Juliet Walker, professor of history and founder and director of the Center for Black Business History, Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of Texas at Austin, will deliver a lecture titled "When Will All Black Economic Lives Matter?
