Public Celebration to Honor Tickle College of Engineering Namesake
The university will host a dedication ceremony at 4 p.m. today for the Tickle College of Engineering in honor of its namesake, John D. Tickle. The celebration will take place in the quad near Perkins and Ferris Halls and will include music, food, and a limited number of T-shirts with the college's new logo. UT Welcomes Fans, Alumni to Homecoming Game Saturday
UT welcomes football fans and alumni to campus Saturday for Homecoming. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. EDT for the Volunteers' game against the Golden Eagles of Tennessee Tech. Many Homecoming activities precede kickoff, such as Party in the Park, the Vol Walk, and Toyota Volunteer Village. Read more...

Researchers believe they have new evidence that supports the theory that she may have died as a castaway on a remote island.
