Students from Across Tennessee Take Part in Engineers Day

Office of the Provost Hosts Faculty Pub Oct. 27
All faculty (tenured, tenure-track, non-tenure-track, and retired) are invited to join their colleagues from across campus for free appetizers and a cash-only bar at this month’s Faculty Pub. Insects on Your Plate? No, Really
For the tenth year the University of Tennessee Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology and students in the UT First Year Studies class titled “A Bug’s Life” will present a Buggy Buffet for your dining pleasure on Thursday, October 27. Students will serve a number of dishes that feature insects. New to the menu this year are Chirpin’ Chili, Bug-B-Que and Banana Bug Smoothies. UT to Host Author and Architect Keller Easterling October 27
Keller Easterling, architect, writer, and professor of architecture at Yale University, will lecture at the College of Architecture and Design at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, October 27, as part of its 2016–2017 Robert B.
