DiPietro Reports UT on Track to Meet Most Important Goals

UT is on track to achieving its most important operational and performance goals and making progress toward long-term sustainability, President Joe DiPietro told the Board of Trustees on Friday. Board Honors Butch Peccolo and Lofton Stuart
The Board of Trustees approved resolutions on Friday to honor two longtime employees who are retiring this year after more than forty years of service. University to Award Honorary Degrees to Gensler Managing Principal and FedEx CEO
UT will award its eleventh and twelfth honorary degrees to a leader in the world of architecture and design and the founder of one of the world's most innovative businesses. Robin Klehr Avia, regional managing principal of Gensler, the global design firm, will receive an honorary doctorate in fine arts on May 13, 2016. Fred Smith, founder and CEO of FedEx, will receive an honorary doctorate in business at the Haslam College of Business commencement set for May 16, 2016. Read more...
