McClelland Elected to Society of Professional Journalists National Board
Members of the Society of Professional Journalists have elected Rachel Wedding McClelland, director of the Office of Student Media, to serve on the organization’s national board. Updates to the Campus Golf/Utility Cart Policy
The UT Police Department, Parking & Transit Services, and Environmental Health and Safety have partnered to implement a new policy effective immediately. Alternative vehicles, like golf and utility carts, are not allowed to park on sidewalks and block entrances to buildings, and must be registered. Read more...

New Key Request System Begins Oct. 10

Changes are coming to the process for requesting a key or swipe card access to buildings on campus. Ensuring the safety of our community and campus is critical. Smart Communities Initiative Honored by Southeast Tennessee Development District
UT's Smart Communities Initiative has been honored by its past and continuing partner, the Southeast Tennessee Development District. The initiative kicked off during the 2014–15 academic year and is now a key component of Experience Learning.
