Department Heads Forum Series Launches September 24

The first Department Heads Forum, part of a new series of workshops and discussions for both recently appointed and the long-standing department heads, is 3:15-4:45 p.m. September 24. "New Normal: Meeting Expectations" will be facilitated by Bill Dunne, associate dean in the College of Engineering; Bruce MacLennan, president of the Faculty Senate; Brent Mallinckrodt, associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences; and Lane Morris, associate dean in the Haslam College of Business. UT Entrepreneurs Place Third in SEC Symposium Competition

A team of Master of Business Administration students from UT's Haslam College of Business placed third in an entrepreneurial pitch competition at the 2015 Southeastern Conference Symposium earlier this week in Atlanta. Students Jake Rheude, Dustin Giltnane, and John Born presented GuruSkins.com, which was a 2015 Boyd Venture Challenge winner. Read more...
