College of Nursing Establishes Center for Nursing Practice to Advance Care
A new Center for Nursing Practice will be established within the College of Nursing, thanks to a generous donation from Richard and Poppy Buchanan. Richard is a retired physician and Poppy served as a public health nurse in Tennessee for a number of years. Read more...

Postdoctoral Fellow Honored for Helping Advance Latinas in Tech Field
Postdoctoral fellow Andrea Rocha, who works on Governor's Chair for Environmental Biotechnology Terry Hazen's joint UT-Oak Ridge National Laboratory team, was chosen as one of thirty-two women worldwide to be profiled in Hispanic Engineer and Information Technology magazine's "Latinas at Tech Giants" edition. UTPD Opens Office in Hodges Library

Khomami: Selection as AIChE Fellow Confirmation of Department's Efforts
The American Institute of Chemical Engineers recently bestowed a top honor on UT's Bamin Khomami, as the group's board of directors announced his election as an AIChE Fellow. Dobbs' Co-Op Experience Also Stressed Importance of Teamwork
Joshua Dobbs might be better known outside the college as the quarterback of the Vols football team, but, like six other players majoring in engineering, once in the classroom, he is all about his studies.
