'Rocky Top' Heard Across Tennessee in New UT Commercial

The state of Tennessee has a long history of great music and songs—including one of the most recognizable songs in the nation, "Rocky Top." In UT's new television half-time spot, Volunteers from across the state sing, hum, and whistle one of our most beloved musical traditions. The new 30-second spot will make its debut on national television Thursday on the SEC Network during UT's home opening against Appalachian State. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. Read more...

Campus Closed Thursday for Game
The campus will have an administrative closing on Thursday to accommodate the season home-opener game. Classes will not be held and most campus offices will be closed. Be aware that Volunteer Dining, RecSports, the T, and libraries will have schedule adjustments because of the changes. Read more...
