Cuba Trip Was Eye-Opening Experience for UT Group

A group of UT engineering students and honor students recently took a trip of a lifetime to work on projects in Cuba. The group was exposed to several aspects of Cuban life, from a working tobacco farm and cigar factory to museums, statues, art, and architecture. Read more...

Reminder: New Bag Policy for Athletic Venues

Leadership Change Announced for Alumni Affairs and Development
Long-time UT fundraiser Chip Bryant, pictured, has been named interim vice chancellor for alumni affairs and development effective August 1. He will replace Scott Rabenold, who is leaving August 12 to become vice president for university development at the University of Texas at Austin. Bryant is the executive director of development for the Haslam College of Business and director of campus-wide campaigns. Read more...

Eighmy Receives National Campus Safety Award

Congratulations to Donnie Carden, left, who was named Facilities Services Employee of the Month for June. Carden, administrative support supervisor, was recognized for organizing the transfer of 3,000 items from the Facilities Operations Building Warehouse to the new warehouse on Sutherland Avenue.
