Search Launches for Next Chancellor
The search for UT's next chancellor began Monday. The search committee, chaired by Steve Mangum, dean and Stokely Foundation Leadership Chair in the Haslam College of Business, met Monday to discuss the search process, timeline, expectations of qualified candidates, and position requirements. Parking Permit Renewals Available Online

Staff parking permits are available for purchase online using payroll deduction or a credit card. Cash or check purchases can be made in the Parking and Transit Services office at 2121 Stephenson Drive. For 2016–17, a new rate structure takes effect. Read more...

Tickets Available for Scott Kelly Event
Free tickets to attend the 5:30 p.m. Monday Life of the Mind event featuring US astronaut Scott Kelly are still available. UT faculty and staff can pick up tickets in the First–Year Studies office, Room 217 of Greve Hall. General public tickets are available at Union Avenue Bookstore and the ticket office in Thompson-Boling Arena. Student tickets are available at all three locations. Read more...

Haslam College of Business Dean Chosen for Secretary of Defense Program
Steve Mangum, dean of the Haslam College of Business, will participate in the US Department of Defense’s orientation program for business and community leaders. He will attend briefings on key defense and national security matters, and travel on military aircraft to visit bases at each branch of the military throughout the Southeast. Read more...
