Alumna Curates McClung Exhibit on Alaska Native Art

Law Students Achieve Victory in US Court of Appeals Case
The United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit has ruled in favor of a client recently represented by students of the College of Law's Appellate Litigation Clinic. The case, Yaqob Thomas v. Joseph Meko, was argued by William "Trey" Neal ('16), pictured, in March, when he and several other students, under the guidance of professor Lucy Jewel and adjunct professor Wade Davies, traveled to Cincinnati to present their arguments before the court. Volunteering with the Vols Project to Deliver Flowers for Knoxville Charity
Students and alumni will join forces on Friday to make deliveries for Random Acts of Flowers, which repurposes flowers left over from other events to provide bouquets to people in health care facilities. The effort is part of Volunteering with the Vols, a series of community service projects coordinated by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Read more...

Changes to UT Wireless Coming Soon

OIT will reduce the number of UT wireless networks from four to two in order to increase the performance of the wireless network. Starting July 25, the broadcasted networks for connecting to wireless will be ut-open and eduroam. Read more...

Best Children's Literature to Be Featured Friday
The Best of the Best is a daylong series of talks about books for children and teens focused on materials published since July 2015. The Center for Children's and Young Adult Literature has partnered with Knox County Public Library, Obion River Regional Library system, and the Paul Meek Library at UT Martin for the event, which will be held Friday, July 15, at the East Tennessee History Center at 601 S. Community Organization Sponsors Design Competition

The Knoxville Area Employment Consortium is seeking submissions for window sticker designs to be displayed by businesses who employ people with disabilities in Knoxville. The goal of this initiative is to recognize businesses who support diversity in employment. Cash prizes in the amounts of $300, $150, and $75 will be awarded to the top three designs.
