TerMaath Receives Angie Warren Perkins Award at Chancellor's Honors Banquet
Last week, Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek celebrated faculty, staff, and students for their accomplishments throughout the past academic year. UT Awarded $5,000 Grant for Addiction Recovery Services

UT has been awarded a $5,000 grant to better meet the needs of students in recovery while also supporting the creation of an online map of community recovery assets. The Center for Health Education and Wellness received the grant from the nonprofit Transforming Youth Recovery. Read more...

Exploratory Meeting for Community of Scholars for Appalachia Researchers Is April 28

A new Community of Scholars focused on research and engagement in Appalachia is forming and an introductory meeting will be held 2:30–4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at the Baker Center. The goal of the group is to coordinate and conduct research and engagement throughout the region to better understand its resources, people, culture, opportunities, and challenges, and to help promote equitable and sustainable development.
