Baker Center to Host Expert on Emerging Regional Challenges in the Middle East
Sameh Aboul-Enein, deputy assistant foreign minister of Egypt for disarmament and peaceful uses of nuclear energy, will give a Global Security Lecture at 5:30 p.m. today at the Baker Center. Governor’s Chair Lecture to Address Transportation in Urban Districts
Kristopher Takacs, associate director for Skidmore, Owings and Merrill LLP, will lecture at the College of Architecture and Design at 5:30 p.m. today. Veterinary Medicine Open House Is April 23
The College of Veterinary Medicine will hold its annual open house from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23. Children are encouraged to bring their stuffed animals to the Teddy Bear Clinic for veterinary students to examine. Guests will learn about dog-bite prevention and tour small and large animal medicine exhibits, and visit community organization and pet rescue groups booths. Canine and equine parades of breeds are scheduled throughout the day. Read more...
