Task Force to Revitalize General Education

A task force is looking at ways to revitalize the General Education program, and the campus community is invited to participate in a roundtable event at noon on April 8 to kick off the process. Erin Hardin, director of undergraduate studies and associate head of the Department of Psychology, chairs the task force. Paranthaman Is Quest Scholar of the Week
Parans Paranthaman has been named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The association is honoring Paranthaman for his research into materials for superconductors, solar cells, lithium ion batteries, and processing of magnetic materials. Quest, the campus's comprehensive research initiative, has selected Paranthaman as its Scholar of the Week. Read more...

Veterinary College Offers Spring Pet Memorial Celebration

In an effort to help pet owners celebrate the lives of their companion animals, both living and deceased, Veterinary Social Work is hosting its Spring Pet Memorial Celebration 6:00–8:00 p.m. Friday, April 1, in the Sequoyah Room.
