Shepardson Is Quest Scholar of the Week
Tina Shepardson, professor of religious studies, was recently awarded a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Humanities to work on her third book, A Memory of Violence: The Radicalization of Religious Difference in the Middle East (431–750 CE). Quest, the campus's comprehensive research initiative, has selected Shepardson as its Scholar of the Week. Read more...

Donate to the Big Orange Family Campaign
The third annual Big Orange Family Campaign is nearing its goal of 55 percent participation among faculty and staff members. The campaign ends Friday. Gifts can be made through payroll deduction or as a one-time gift online. Contributors can choose to designate their gift to any college, department, program, scholarship, or pre-established gift fund. Read more...

Scholarship Continues Legacy of Engineering Graduate

A commitment to the environment led engineering graduate Susan E. Stutz-McDonald to a career pursuing ways of making the air, water, and land better for all. Now the Susan E. Stutz-McDonald Scholarship Foundation is celebrating her life and work with a scholarship in her memory in the College of Engineering. Stutz-McDonald died in 2005 after a four-year battle with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Read more...
