Dean Thompson Receives the Montyoe Scholar Award
Dixie Thompson, vice provost and dean of the Graduate School, received the 2017 Henry J. Montyoe Scholar Award from the Southeast Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine. Thompson has been a member of the UT faculty since 1994 and served as the Department Head of Kinesiology, Recreation, and Sport Studies from 2008 until 2012. Her research is focused on the health impact of regular physical activity, particularly in women. Read more...
