Linda Sue Cameron Busico, a parking and transit services staff member for special events, died January 27. She was forty-five. Busico is survived by her husband and longtime UTPD officer, Sergeant Vince Busico. Read more...

In Memoriam: Mark A. Hector
Mark Hector, a longtime faculty member in the Department of Psychology, passed away, on January 4. He was 74. He taught counseling and psychology at UT from 1973 until his retirement in 2015. Prior to UT, Hector taught math in Navrongo, Ghana, with the Peace Corps and Teachers for West Africa. Read more...

Lady Vols vs. UConn Blood Drive Begins Today
The MEDIC Regional Blood Center UT vs. UConn Blood Drive Battle will take place Monday, February 1, through Friday, February 5. This is the first year that UT will take on the University of Connecticut to see which fan base can bring in more blood donations during a five-day period. Read more...

Reminder: Dining Discount Moving to VolCard

Volunteer Dining has begun using VolCards to validate the faculty and staff dining discount program. The VolCard will be swiped at the register to apply the discount to transactions. Beginning in the fall, vendors will accept only the VolCard for validation. Read more...
