Campus Names Troy Lane Associate Vice Chancellor for Public Safety
Troy Lane, police chief for the UT Knoxville campus, has been appointed to the dual role of associate vice chancellor for public safety and chief of police effective January 1. As associate vice chancellor, Lane now oversees the university's growing safety programs, including environmental health and safety and emergency management. Read more...

Program Allows Students to Earn Law, Bachelor's Degrees While Saving Full Year of Tuition

Undergraduate students can now earn both a bachelor's degree and law degree in six years, one year less than what is normally required. UT 3+3 is a new accelerated degree program offered by the College of Law and College of Arts and Sciences. Read more...

Policy Brief Addresses Climate Change Talks

A new policy brief released this week from UT's Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy addresses the international climate negotiations that took place in Paris in December 2015.
