Tennessee Partnership for Ongoing Parental Support, based in the College of Social Work, provides assistance to noncustodial fathers who are incarcerated or recently released, as well as informational sessions for correctional staff. These programs are funded through a contract administered by the Tennessee Department of Human Services and UT.

UT Inmate Re-entry Program Featured in Federal Government Publication

A UT Knoxville program that delivers child support services to inmates and helps newly released offenders find work and other important community assistance, has been recognized by the federal government. The Tennessee Partnership for Ongoing Parental Support was featured as an example of successful practice in the November issue of “Child Support Report.”
