Taylor Eighmy to Be President of UT San Antonio

UT Vice Chancellor of Research and Engagement Taylor Eighmy has announced plans to leave UT on August 31 to become president of the University of Texas at San Antonio, whose board approved the hire Tuesday.

UT Joins I-Corps South to Expand Entrepreneurial Training

UT will receive grant funding to teach technology entrepreneurship, perform research, and foster innovation through the National Science Foundation’s Innovation Corps (I-Corps) program. A public-private partnership, I-Corps was created in 2011 to train researchers to evaluate the commercial potential of their scientific discoveries.

Eighmy Receives National Campus Safety Award

The Campus Safety, Health, and Environmental Association named Taylor Eighmy as a recipient of its 2016 Campus Leaders Who Care Award in recognition of his work to enhance laboratory and research safety at universities across the country.
