The Regal Scholars program, offered for the sixth year in a row, provides one-year renewable scholarships to 10 freshmen, 10 sophomores, 10 juniors, and 10 seniors. The Knoxville-based Regal Entertainment Group’s foundation invests $100,000 each year in the program to cover tuition and room and board for 40 UT students from Knox County.

For Angela Kirkpatrick, a freshman at UT Knoxville on a pre-med track, the $2,500 Regal Scholarship made it possible for her to further her education and pursue her dreams of becoming a pediatric doctor. The Regal Scholars program, in its third year, provides $2,500 annual scholarships for up to forty Knox County students at UT—ten freshmen, ten sophomores, ten juniors, and ten seniors.
Dozens of UT Knoxville students have Regal Entertainment Group to thank for helping make their education possible. The Regal Foundation is contributing up to $100,000 annually to support scholarships which benefit forty young Volunteers.
For UT Knoxville pre-med sophomore Morgan McPheeters, the Regal Scholarship is just what the doctor ordered. McPheeters received $2,500 to help him with college expenses this year.
