Four recent campus construction and renovation projects have been nominated for 2014 People’s Choice Awards by the American Institute of Architects, East Tennessee Chapter. The community is encouraged to vote online for their favorite by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 28.

Frances Nash has been named assistant director of One Stop Express Student Services. Nash previously served as a counselor at One Stop, and in her new role she provides support in managing the daily activities of the center, assists with ongoing training of counselors, and serves as a resource for counselors and other staff who require information regarding enrollment services. In addition, she continues to assist students and families with their enrollment service needs.
The Office of Communications and Marketing recently won several awards, including a top award, in local and regional advertising, communications, and marketing competitions.
The campus community gathered Friday to celebrate the official opening of the One Stop Express Student Services center in Hodges Library. While the center began serving students and families this summer, the staff has gotten a lot busier in recent weeks.

The newly opened One Stop Express Student Services center is up and running, making it easier for students to conduct their business with the university. The campus community is invited to join Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek and Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor Susan D. Martin for a ribbon-cutting at 9:15 a.m. on Friday, August 23, on the first floor of the John C. Hodges Library.

Darren Curry began work last week as the director of UT’s new One Stop student services center, which will open in the summer of 2013 and will streamline the way students do their primary business with the university. The center will provide a single location where students can access registrar, financial aid, and bursar office services.
UT is working to create a new One Stop student services center to streamline the most common services students need to manage their enrollment, registration, financial aid, and payments. The One Stop center will open in summer 2013 on the ground floor of Hodges Library. The paperless, wireless environment will give enrolled undergraduate and graduate students one location to access the primary services of the registrar, financial aid, and bursar offices.
