T’s College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences is kicking off a $40 million fundraising effort as part of UT’s Investing in the Journey to the Top 25 campaign. The college is celebrating the public phase of the campaign, which has raised $33 million to date, at tonight’s annual Educators Hall of Honor induction ceremony.

UT’s Korn Learning, Assessment, and Social Skills Center will soon accept applications for Postsecondary Autism Support Services, a new program developed to support the needs of UT students with autism spectrum disorders. The program will officially launch in fall 2017.
UT’s Korn Learning, Assessment, and Social Skills (KLASS) Center is expanding its services for children with behavioral difficulties.
East Tennessee third through fifth graders who are struggling in reading will have the chance to improve their skills through a free summer tutoring program offered by UT. The program, which is also a research project, is geared toward children who have completed grades three through five but are reading below grade level. To be eligible, children must have received free or reduced-price lunch during the 2012-2013 school year.
