The campus welcomes fans this Saturday for the Vols’ game against the Auburn University Tigers. Kickoff is set for 12:01 p.m. and ESPN will televise the game. The traditional Vol Walk will start at 9:45 a.m. Homecoming activities include the annual parade at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and Party in the Park beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. The party’s activities include live entertainment, the world’s largest Moon Pie, and cheers by the pep band and cheerleaders. The cost is $12 for adults and $8 for children age ten and under.

Homecoming stands out as the greatest orange-and-white celebration on the UT calendar for both students and alumni. This year’s festivities culminate on Saturday, November 9, when faculty, staff, and students from different colleges, offices, and organizations across campus welcome back thousands of lifelong Vol fans. “Cirque du Rocky Top” is this year’s Homecoming theme.
This year’s Homecoming festivities will be a family affair. Little Vols ages ten and under are invited to don their orange and white to march in the Homecoming parade on Friday, November 8, and then enjoy crafts and treats with alumna Carol Aebersold, creator of Elf on the Shelf.
