The traditional Vol Walk will start at 9:45 a.m. Homecoming activities include the annual parade at 4:00 p.m. on Friday and Party in the Park beginning at 9:00 a.m. Saturday. The party’s activities include live entertainment, the world’s largest Moon Pie, and cheers by the pep band and cheerleaders. The cost is $12 for adults and $8 for children age ten and under.

Activities include live music, informational displays, a visit from Smokey, and an insect petting zoo.

The Tennessee football team continues to give back to the community. On Saturday, a house built by the Vols was dedicated to Kim Dixon and her family in South Knoxville. Throughout the summer the Vols have built different portions of Dixon’s new home after her previous home was lost in a fire. Saturday’s ceremony was the culmination of hard work and teamwork by every member of the football team.
