A new end of course evaluation system for students to provide feedback to instructors will be used this fall. The Campus Labs survey delivery system opened this week so faculty can log into Campus Labs to review their class rosters and the end of course evaluation question sets that have been assigned to each class.
The Faculty Pub reopens today for the spring semester at the Bridgeview Grill on Neyland Drive. The pub will be open from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. each Thursday for the remainder of the semester. This semester also will include “Third Thursdays,” three special pub nights which will feature live music performed by UT faculty.
Today is the final Faculty Pub for the fall semester. As always, pub hours in the Bridgeview Grill are from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., and faculty and administrators can park in the C-15 staff parking lot across Neyland Drive.

Nominees and applications are being accepted until December 5 for the third class of the UT Knoxville Women’s Leadership Program. Designed to encourage a stronger pipeline of women faculty and staff members into campus leadership positions, the Women’s Leadership Program is a one-year commitment that combines intensive leadership training with monthly sessions that include readings, speakers, and discussions.

Next month will mark the tenth anniversary of the September 11, 2011, terrorist attacks. The UT Media Relations office is looking for UT faculty, staff, students, and alumni who were in New York or Washington, D.C., and witnessed the attacks or who played a role in the rescue or cleanup operations. We’re also looking for people who have seen their work, research, or lives greatly impacted by 9/11.
Beginning this month, when faculty and staff members register computers for use on the UT Knoxville network, they will be asked to complete a brief survey as part of the university’s annual Self-Certification process. The survey questions will be in regard to the types of information employees electronically store and whether or not the devices for which they are responsible contain legally protected information.
