Today is the final day for eligible employees to take the employee engagement survey.

The 2014 Employee Engagement Survey is well underway and the UT Space Institute and UT Foundation are leading the state for participation rates.
All UT employees who work at least 50 percent time should have received an e-mail invitation on Monday to take the 2014 Employee Engagement Survey.
How do we make UT an even better place to work? Chancellor Jimmy G. Cheek posed the question during overview sessions for the 2011 Employee Engagement Survey held on Tuesday. Last spring, 43 percent of the Knoxville campus faculty and exempt staff responded to the survey. In the fall, 57 percent of all non-exempt employees participated. The survey asked about job satisfaction, work culture, leadership, and professional development, among other topics.
The results of the system-wide employment engagement survey are in and faculty and staff are invited to forums this week and next week to learn more about the findings. The results shared will be specific to the groups invited to the different sessions taking place on May 2, May 7, and May 8.
There are just a few days left to complete UT’s employee engagement survey. The statewide survey wraps up on Tuesday, November 15. Response rates are at 44 percent across the UT system and at 43 percent on the Knoxville campus. This is a great response rate, but there is still time to get those numbers higher.
By now, many Knoxville-area UT employees have received an e-mail or paper survey for the system-wide employee satisfaction survey. The UT system is overseeing the confidential survey, which is designed to gauge your opinions and needs in areas such as pay, benefits, job satisfaction, professional development, performance evaluation, leadership, and communication. The survey is open through November 15.
