Food Management highlighted the new dining facility located within the residence hall, the Fresh Food Company. Senior Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Jeff Maples was interviewed for the article. He spoke about the student input that went in to the planning of the dining hall and the popularity of the new facility.
Last week, the Stokely Family Residence Hall opened for the spring semester and welcomed its first residents. The News Sentinel, the Daily Beacon, WBIR, WATE, and WVLT toured the hall.

The Big Orange Meal Share program, which launched in January, allows students to donate their unused guest meals and allows others to contribute funds to benefit students in need. Volunteer Dining has begun using VolCards to validate the faculty and staff dining discount program. The VolCard will be swiped at the register to apply the discount to transactions.
