Clifton Jones Leadership Conference News
This annual conference gets students involved in interactive sessions focused on creating a leadership brand, leading in a diverse world, servant leadership, and social justice. That event is followed by a half-day of community service in the Knoxville area in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., where students experience first-hand some of the topics and issues discussed earlier in the day.
About 500 UT students will celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Saturday, January 18, by attending a leadership conference and working on service projects around the Knoxville community. Hosted by UT’s Center for Leadership and Service, the Clifton M. Jones Student Leadership Conference and MLK Day of Service will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Carolyn P. Brown Memorial University Center.
