Spanish architect Iñaqui Carnicero will be on campus Friday, October 11, to deliver a lecture exploring the relationship between architecture and economics. Carnicero’s appearance is part of the Robert B. Church III Memorial Lecture Series and a result of a partnership between the College of Architecture and Design and the Embassy of Spain’s Cultural Office. The 5:30 p.m. lecture is free and open to the public.
Internationally-acclaimed scholar and educator of architecture Billie Tsien will speak at UT on April 8 as part of the College of Architecture and Design’s Church Lecture Series. The lecture, free and open to the public, will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the McClung Museum Auditorium. Tsien has taught at Harvard and Yale universities and at Parsons The New School for Design. She is a director of the Public Art Fund, the Architectural League of New York, and the American Academy of Rome.
