Did you know that UT has a place to find out your exact body fat percentage, resting metabolic testing, and lactate threshold? Brian Rider, a graduate assistant at the UT Center for Physical Activity and Health, talks about the center’s big idea of helping people in Knoxville get healthy and active.
The campus’s Center for Physical Activity and Health is looking for participants for a study on walking and weight loss. The study is open to anyone between the ages of 30 and 65 who is twenty pounds overweight, sedentary, and capable of walking a quarter mile without difficulty.
