Students, Alumni Win UT Design Competition

Four students and two alumni are winners of a design contest sponsored by the College of Architecture and Design. The winners will be feted at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 9, at the UT Ewing Gallery. The annual MAX_minimum Design Competition was established in honor of Professor Emeritus Max Robinson, former director of the School of Architecture.

UT Senior Appointed to Board of National Student Architecture Organization

UT Knoxville senior Brent Castro has been named vice president of the board of directors of the American Institute of Architecture Students, a leading organization for architecture students in the nation. The paid, full-time position will require him to manage the organization’s office in Washington, DC, and travel extensively to visit chapters in schools around the country.
