John Currie Named Director of Athletics

John Currie, athletic director for Kansas State, has been named UT’s next Director of Athletics. Currie worked for UT Athletics for 12 years prior to going to K-State in 2009. He will join Chancellor Beverly Davenport’s cabinet as vice chancellor and director of athletics on April 1. Davenport announced the hire Tuesday after less than two weeks on the job.

Orange and White Game Is April 22

The Tennessee football team will hold its annual DISH Orange and White Game at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, at Neyland Stadium.

Tennessee’s Spirit Teams competed over the weekend at the 2017 Universal Cheerleaders Association and Universal Dance Association College National Championships at ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.

UT Welcomes Fans to Final Home Football Game Saturday

UT welcomes fans to campus Saturday for this year’s final home football game. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. EST for the Volunteers’ game against the University of Missouri Tigers. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. CBS will televise the game.
