The museum store at UT’s McClung Museum of Natural History and Culture will host special sales throughout December, with extra perks and discounts for museum members as well as UT faculty, staff, and students.

Through December 23, shoppers will find unique gifts, stocking stuffers, jewelry, handmade artisan items, and more at the store. Museum members and students always receive 10 percent off all purchases, but the discount will be extended to UT faculty and staff throughout the month of December.

Holiday refreshments and complimentary gift wrapping and shopping assistance will be offered during a special members-only appreciation event in the store on Tuesday, December 12. Membership information is available online.

The store is a member of the Museum Store Association and purchases only from vendors who guarantee items are ethical and meet high quality standards. All purchases include tax, and all proceeds from store purchases help fund the museum’s free educational programs, which serve more than 10,000 Knoxville-area students each year.

The McClung Museum is located at 1327 Circle Park Drive. Museum admission is free, and the museum and store’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Free two-hour museum parking passes are available from the parking kiosk at the entrance to Circle Park Drive during the week. Free parking is available on the weekends. Free public transportation to the museum is available via the Knoxville Trolley Vol Line.

See the museum’s website for more information about parking and exhibitions.
