UT employees who rent vehicles from Fleet Management on a short-term basis now can park their own personal vehicle in the Fleet Management parking lot during the rental.
One parking permit will be issued for each short-term rental. Employees can use the permit to park their personal car in spaces 1 through 137 in the lot behind the Fleet Management building on UT Drive. The lot is policed by Fleet Management and Parking and Transit Services.
Personal vehicles not parked in the indicated spaces are subject to ticketing, towing, or booting. The service does not apply to long-term rentals, and is being offered to increase convenience and personal safety for UT employees.
