The Financial Times has ranked UT’s Haslam College of Business as the fastest-growing public institution in the United States for executive education programs. The measure of revenue growth from customized programs and repeat business places UT fourth among all institutions nationwide.
UT maintained its overall rank of fifth among US public universities and 13th among all US universities offering custom executive education, while rising nine spots to reach the rank of 36th worldwide.
“Our graduate and executive education programs consistently earn positive feedback from customers for our responsiveness and ability to make the learning process impactful,” said Bruce Behn, the college’s associate dean for graduate and executive education. “This impact is evidenced in the Financial Times’ top rankings in the areas of follow-up and facilities for the second year in a row. We are especially pleased to be ranked first in custom executive education program growth for US public universities, and we look forward to the continued growth of these programs in the future.”
As part of the Financial Times survey, companies that have commissioned executive courses evaluate each school’s preparation, program design, teaching methods and materials, faculty, new skills and learning, follow-up, achievement of aims, facilities, value and future usefulness. Schools report on their international clients, overseas programs, growth, partner schools and faculty diversity.
