The university’s annual memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, May 5, in the UT Gardens on the Institute of Agriculture campus. The service will honor students, faculty, and staff who have passed away during this past year. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.
At the service, we will also pay tribute to our alumni, retirees, and emeritus faculty and staff. Last June, the Volunteer family lost Lady Vols Head Coach Emeritus Pat Summitt. We will honor her incredible contributions and the impact she had on thousands of lives.
The ceremony will also include a group remembrance of all alumni and former faculty and staff who have passed away this last year.
