The Haslam College of Business is hoping to interest UT faculty and staff who want to accelerate management opportunities in their careers by earning a Master of Science in management and human resources.

The newly updated curriculum provides relevant and useful techniques to build a strong foundation in strategic management, develop professional leadership abilities, and grow human resource management skills.

“We are very excited to be offering the updated Master of Science in management and human resources program,” said Cheryl Barksdale, program director. “We believe focusing on leadership, business, and human resources will be beneficial to students interested in advancing their careers as managers in all industries. We encourage all majors and backgrounds to apply.”

The program is designed with flexibility in mind, offering evening courses and allowing students to complete the program’s 33 credit hours at their own pace.

The program is open to both business and nonbusiness majors. For more information, email msmhr@utk.edu.
