Nearly 250 students from around the region took part in the 2017 East Tennessee History Day, a competition that gives young people a chance to demonstrate their knowledge of history through research.
The competition is co-sponsored each year by the Department of History, the College of Arts and Sciences and the UT Humanities Center. Several UT faculty members and graduate students served as the event’s judges.
